Title: Beautiful, Comfortable, Great Fit
Review: I’m going to write the review I wish I would’ve come across when I was dress shopping, because finding a dress is HARD. I’m the mother of the groom, early 50s, plus size, smidge under 5’8″, my shape is what would result if a pear and a pyramid had a baby. I shopped at two bridal stores, a consignment shop that had formal gowns, and online. I ordered a dress from London, and this dress. This dress is the easy winner of all the dresses I tried on. It fits great, and I don’t think I’ll even need any alterations, other than maybe a little off the length in the front. It even fits my relatively small shoulders, but the sleeves are genius in that they accommodate various body compositions. The sleeves are quite roomy, even for my bat wings. They actually go all the way to my wrists, and are sheer. The waist band in the back is elastic, making the waist comfortable in the event I want to do something crazy like bend or breathe. It is very flattering, and hides my tummy. The fabric lays flatter than the more expensive dresses I tried, so it doesn’t add the volume they did. It is not low cut, so there’s no wrinkled cleavage spilling over the top. The neckline is low enough to allow for a necklace. Speaking of wrinkles, this thing comes out of the box looking like a crumpled pile. Don’t fret, it steams up smooth and flowy. I used a hand steamer on delicate, and all the wrinkles came out. Sure, I had to go over some spots several times. I bought the navy blue; it’s not a black blue, it’s more of an inky blue. Do know that the zipper gets sticky around the waistband area. Nice thing is, there’s no undressing to use the bathroom, as opposed to some other getups I tried on. This dress is elegant and classy, easy and breezy, and a reasonable price for something my grandson will likely destroy anyway! Whatever you wear, rock it and feel confident!

Review: Lovely long sleeves that fit my bingo wings well, the length was a bit much for a 5’2″ 3xl girl but has great twirl-ability and has withstood a gentle cycle in the washer and low-heat in the dryer.

Title: Really pretty dress!
Review: I have been having some medical issues that have resulted in unfortunate weight gain. I’m not tall, and I have trouble finding things that cover the “problem areas”, look nice, and make me feel comfortable & pretty. I bought 8 dresses from Amazon & only kept this one. The rest of them looked SO WEIRD on, but this one was really pretty. I got lots of compliments on the style & color (deep green) all night at our event. Because of how the waist band hit me (I’m short-waisted at 5′ 4″ & about 280 lbs. right now), I ended up folding it over (it was bunching oddly) & putting a sash over it. It was so much better with the sash b/c I was able to cover the folded-over area & make it look like this was how it was always designed. This is why I deducted a star. The sleeves fit me well & didn’t make my arms look heavy, even though they are right now. With the waist folded up, it gave the dress the appearance of an empire waist, which was infinitely more flattering on me. The skirt has a polyester layer under the sheet top layer, and even though I wore a slip, I really didn’t need it. I’d get this dress again…though I’d probably allow a little extra time to take it to a tailor & have the waist actually adjusted so it didn’t need to be folded & covered with a sash. Oh, and one more thing–I am always roasting. I usually won’t wear polyester or other fabrics that don’t “breathe” because they make me super hot & make me feel like I can’t breathe. For whatever reason, this dress didn’t do that to me. It’s very loose & airy, and I felt like my temperature was well-controlled while I was wearing it. That’s not usually the case for me with formal wear, so this was a pleasant surprise!

Title: It’s great for the price!
Review: I am pleasantly surprised by this one! I’m almost 5’10” so I was concerned about length but it covers my feet so I’m very pleased with that. I’m also about 290 lbs and I feel like it’s pretty flattering. The material feels good too, it’s soft and the parts that aren’t supposed to be see through aren’t. It does kind of smell like someone’s perfume but a wash can fix that. I normally wear about a size 20 jeans and went up a lot based on dress sizes I’ve gotten at David’s Bridal. I bought an 26 for reference and you can see how it fits in pictures. Overall I’d recommend it, especially for the price and if you need something fast!

Title: Beautiful dress
Review: The neckline on this dress is so flattering. Perfect for taller gals. I’m 5/10 size 18/20. It touched my ankles. The material is light weight but the dress is structured. Super flattering on the waistline.The only complaint is the zipper. Would not zip all the way up while trying the dress on. The dress has a little stretch not too much but was enough to pull over my head after I zipped it all the way up. Otherwise zipper would have been a total bust and the dress would have been returned

Title: Sizing is small, horrible packaging
Review: Color is darker than I thought it would be. But the sizing is off. I wear a 16 normally, but could barely get it zipped. The built in bra is not in the right place, making the dress look bunched up where it shouldn’t.The dress what shipped in a small bag, scrunched up. Souldve taken better care so that it wouldn’t be so wrinkled.Fabric was fine, it hung nicely. Returning.
